Thor was owned by a woman who also owned another macaw and a cockatoo. She recently lost her house, and was unable to keep her parrots.Thor was very much loved and is quite a delight to be around! If she feels she's not the center of attention, she will call attention to herself, and greets new entrants to the room with a cheery "hello!"
She is the first scarlet macaw we've had up for adoption in several years. We are looking for an experienced macaw home for her, since scarlets can be a bit of a handful at times!
