Pionus are often touted as good apartment birds, but we are finding that not to be the case. These guys are a lot louder than their reputation!
Mason is a bit cage aggressive, but is very sweet and tame once he's out of his cage.We're now looking for the perfect home for him again -- one without shared walls since he's a lot louder than he looks!

I just wanted to clarify that we only had Mason for ONE year. I don't want people to get the impression that he's older than he is.
I haven't seen Mason on the PetFinder page, so I hope he's found a new home, and that all of his things go with him. He was quite spoiled. :)
In response to Jennifer's comment about Mason. We are volunteers with CARE and we adopted Mason Aug 9th. We live outside of Neenah, WI. He lives in our home with 9 pionuses, 2 tiels, and 2 keets. He's on my shoulder as I write this. If you would like to give us more info or want more info on him, please contact Care. They have our permission to give you our #, and give us any of his favorite foods, etc, etc. YES, we could tell he was spoiled before!!
