Bo is an approximately 16 year old male
Vosmaeri Eclectus. As you can see, he's plucked out most of his chest feathers and we're not sure whether they will grow back.
Bo is incredibly sweet and has a fantastic personality. He loves being out of his cage and getting lots of attention! Bo also can be very loud, especially when he thinks he's being ignored. Here is an example of his mischievousness. He was standing on the counter while volunteers were putting price tags on toys to be sold in the store. Bo went over, grabbed the price tags and started chewing them! (Sorry the picture is a bit back-lit.!
Ekkies have different dietary needs than most parrots. While the person who adopts Bo does not necessarily have to have
eclectus experience, they will have to educate themselves on the

I have one with yellow feathers on its chest like this. He was plucked also. Why the yellow feathers??
